Meet Beth

Hi, I’m Beth Freese (she/her), LPC, CCTP, DBR Therapist, Trauma Therapist, and Chronic Pain Specialist in Phoenix, AZ, and Connecticut.

You’ve done the journaling, the deep breaths, the meditation. Still stuck?
You might be carrying trauma, living with chronic pain, or moving through life with a nervous system that never feels fully at ease.

You're not looking for someone to just validate you—you want someone to help you shift what’s actually happening. You want therapy that goes deeper than coping skills. You want your life to feel different.

This is where we start.
I work with adults in Arizona who are navigating trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, self-esteem issues, or the mind-body effects of long-term pain. Most of my clients are high-functioning but internally exhausted. They’re often people who’ve spent years trying to "figure it out" on their own or through other therapy, but haven’t felt true relief or change.

My approach to therapy
I don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all strategies. Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and direct. We focus on what’s underneath the symptoms—what’s happening in your body, your story, your relationships, and your environment.

Some of our work will involve nervous system regulation. Some will center around developmental experiences. Some sessions might feel like putting pieces of your past together for the first time. Others might help you finally name your challenges, patterns, or grief.

We move at your pace, but we move.

How I’m different
Many clients I work with have done traditional talk therapy before. They’ve learned how to survive. Now they want to get unstuck—and actually feel better in their body and their life.

I bring a blend of somatic awareness, attachment work, neuroscience, and trauma-focused approaches (like Deep Brain Reorienting and parts work). I’ll show up fully so you can, too—no performance, no sugarcoating.

If you’re looking for a trauma therapist in Phoenix who gets the mind-body connection and won’t just nod along—I’d love to hear from you.

How Therapy Works

1. Start with a consultation
We’ll schedule a 15-minute consultation to talk through your questions and make sure we’re a good fit. No pressure—just a chance to connect and get clear.

2. Choose your path
We’ll meet weekly or in a focused therapy intensive—whatever fits best. Sessions are a space to dig into what’s really going on, process stuck experiences, and get tools that actually help.

3. Make real shifts and get clear
You’ll gain clarity, self-trust, and tools to change the patterns that keep you stuck—in your relationships, your body, and your daily life.

Evolve Therapy was founded with you in mind. We take a mind, brain, and body approach to healing emotional and physical pain. We know a treating the whole person is the key to true pain relief.
